Festival of traditions of human communities from different continents.
In its 21st edition, FESTARTE makes Matosinhos a center where the ethnographic, gastronomic and cultural traditions of human communities from different continents will converge. The groups that visit us in this edition come from Colombia, Spain, Guinea-Bissau, India, Peru, Russia and Turkey.
As the late Dr. Carlos Morais said, the event "will allow to take Matosinhos to all corners of the world and simultaneously make known to the population of the county the difference and the exoticism of other cultures."
