The 2018 XXVII Tahum National MTQ brought the theme: "MTQ Realizing a Mental Revolution Towards the Qur'ani People"
The race will be held at 12 arena points throughout Medan - Kab. Deli Serdang - North Sumatra Province which was carried out on 4 to 13 October 2018.
The 2018 XXVII National MTQ is present in the form of the mascot "Chicken Jago Dressed in Malay". "Rooster" means as a reminder of prayer time at dawn; Malay clothing means the people of North Sumatra which is thick with Islamic values; The Book of the Qur'an is a guideline for life and as a source of law for Muslims.
